6: Remembering Mah Beng Guan @ PMC GYM
I remember Mah Beng Guan who used to attend PMC GYM occasionally a couple of years ago although he was 100 years old. I have not seen him again since. So I Googled his name this morning and found the following from sgchess.net.
When I first got to know Mah Beng Guan in the 60s at the Singapore Chess Club at the YMCA in Orchard Road, he was the Vice President of the Singapore Chess Federation.

A Ong and W Lim played a Ruy Lopez. Black (Lim) won the game as his Bishops had greater mobility than Black's Knights after the exchange of Queens.
